The Hotel
Slabtown Village is Portland’s first tiny home hotel to mix existing historical houses with high-end modern tiny homes to form a one-of-a-kind hotel experience.
Whether you're planning your own tiny house build and want to check out some new ideas or just like to stay in unique places while on the road, we want to be the home base for your Portland visit. We also can rent multiple units for bigger groups, such as weddings, family reunions, or even groups of traveling sports or music fans. See our Additional Info page for further information.
Each unit is fully furnished and self-contained. All three tiny homes come with light cooking options, shower, full bathroom amenities, complimentary tea & coffee, and an attached deck with outdoor areas.

Our Story
When John Jendritza and Grant Norling originally bought three tiny Victorian homes on NW Overton Street, it was for the primary purpose of solidifying office space for their psychologist wives.
After years of watching nearby historical buildings get razed and replaced with new high-rises, they were pressured to do the same—but decided to go a different route. They wanted to uphold the history of the neighborhood, but also allow for the opportunity to expand. The answer: tiny homes to complement the existing ones, creating a unique hotel solution.
A solid year of development, city meetings, planning, permitting and several aching muscles later, Slabtown Village was launched in April, 2018.
We are happy to bring our concept to the neighborhood and love being a part of Northwest Portland as neighbors and small-business owners!
Please reach out to us if you want to chat. It is our priority to be available and connected to the Slabtown neighborhood as much as we can!
